Reading and Writing 4 covers the steps in writing an academic essay. You will learn and master essay writing, summarizing, academic reading, in-text citations, and cohesion and coherence. You will plan, revise, and write an academic essay either on the causes or effects of poverty.
The skills taught in this course will enable you to succeed in university-level coursework. You will engage in academic research and learn to express your ideas clearly. In the final project, you will demonstrate all the knowledge you have learned in this course as you write the final essay.
To better reflect the level (B2), we have updated the course number to 401. The course now is College Writing 401.
